Users are encouraged to remove student identifiers where possible.

No analytics or behavioral tracking tools are used.
4. How Worksheet Data Is Processed
All worksheet scanning and grading is performed locally on the user's device.
- Worksheet images and grading results remain on the device
- No worksheet content is uploaded to external servers
- No student data is stored in the cloud
Cloud connectivity is limited strictly to account authentication and scan‑count tracking.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Account data is securely managed through Firebase Authentication
- Worksheet data remains under the user's control on their device
- We do not maintain databases of student work
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect account‑related information.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.
Student data is never accessed, transmitted, or disclosed by Insta‑Grading.
7. Educational Privacy
Insta‑Grading is designed to support FERPA‑aligned privacy practices by minimizing data collection and ensuring that student work remains under the educator's control.
Insta‑Grading does not act as a repository or processor of student education records.
